Ministries

Our parish has organised ministry opportunities for the community to participate and offer their gifts and talents to serve others in the parish.

Music and Liturgy

Good music and liturgy form the backbone of most sacramental celebrations. Musicians and singers often practice for many hours before offering their talents and gifts in the service of the liturgy. No matter what your musical talents are, we are always open listening to you and helping discern where you would best fit in the celebration of the liturgy.

If you are interested in serving in the music ministry in some way, we would love to hear from you - [email protected]

Kids Club

We understand that it can be difficult to get your children to Mass on a Sunday but we strive to make it easier for you by offering a two-stream Kids Club (children's liturgy). Once you deem your child old enough, they are able to join trained, Blue Carded and Police Checked adults, along with other children in the Parish Centre for a child-friendly liturgy of the Word.

Holy Communion to the Sick and Housebound

While we celebrate Mass regularly in this parish, there are many who, due to health, mobility or transport challenges, are unable to join the celebration. St Paul calls us to be the Body of Christ - that means we need to be diligent in remembering those who, while remaining faithful, are not with us. Every week, women and men from across the parish take the Body of our Lord to the sick and housebound but we are always looking for more.

Please contact the parish office for more information - [email protected]

Intercession Ministry

What could be more fundamental and important than praying for the needs of others.

Our Lady of the Rosary church cleaning

Not all ministries are glamorous and 'front of the house' but keeping our church clean is among the most important.

If you are able to assist in the cleaning roster, please contact the Parish office - [email protected]

Sacristan

Have you ever wondered who prepares the wine and bread before Mass and who polishes the beautiful silver and gold chalices? The sacristan is a vital part of the celebration of Mass, ensuring that everything is set up and ready to go.

If you would to learn more about being a sacristan, please contact the parish office - [email protected]

Counters

Every week on Monday morning, parishioners gather to count the weekend collection. Neither Jesus, nor St Paul would have been able to effectively share the Good News without having the required resources and so helping count money forms an important cog in the parish machine.

If you would like to join a counting team, email Don Rolls - [email protected]
